![]() I started collecting last fall and have amassed quite the hoard in less than 6 months. My Bakelite jewelry collection ranks pretty high. ![]() I’ve been lucky enough to acquire so many unique items over the years that it’s hard to exactly pinpoint my number one favorite item in my closet. What is the go-to item in your closet when you want to look amazing? There’s nothing more awkward than wearing a delicate floral dress with bold eyeshadow and red lipstick, or sporting a barely-there makeup look with a dramatic outfit. Another word of advice is to master your makeup and hair techniques and coordinate them with your wardrobe. The simplest pair of skinny jeans and nondescript blouse can become paparazzi ready when you add a pair of sky high turquoise stilettos, loads of bangles, and a cute little vintage hat. I love anything theatrical and extravagant-the more unusual and unique, the better! For example, in this photo, I paired a flowing purple maxi dress with a mustard yellow velvet cape and Russian fur hat. I love combining different elements from contrasting 20th century decades and historical time periods. To sum it up in one word, my style is eclectic.
